Behold Beauty

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, 

then my beauty I choose to behold.

For far too long I looked around,

and my own beauty I undersold.

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder,  

then why do we value other people’s views?

If God says I am beautiful, 

then that is the standard for which I choose.
